Event: NY Tech Monthly Meetup

On May 9th 2012, NY Tech Meetup will have its May monthly meeting. NY Tech Meetup is an event where 9 to 10 companies get 3 to 5 minutes to give a demo of something cool for New York’s tech community. The Meetup was founded on September 25, 2004 and has been going strong, once a month, since. NY Tech Meetup is sponsored by DFJ Gotham, Tumblr, Bloomberg, Google, Wilson Sonsini, Microsoft BizSpark, and NASDAQ OMX. Reviews from the last meeting were all fantastic, one member even commenting that it was a great mix of people, great way to immerse yourself in the NY Tech Scene. The May event takes place at 7:00 pm, at the NYU Skirball Center For The Performing Arts and tickets can be purchased for $10 per person at 1 pm on April 30th and May 4th. If there are no tickets left for the actual event you can attend the simulcast at New Work City, the same day at 6:30 pm, where you can join others in watching the NY Tech Meetup live. Tickets for this are also ten dollars each. Don’t forget, if you can’t make the May meeting there’s always June – or the months after that!
